“A wonderful relief from corporate hotels. There is country charm and hospitality from the amazing beds to the very sweet and caring staff. I have stayed here a few times while working in the area and always look forward to a hearty meal and a great night sleep.”

“Older rooms, but super clean and comfortable beds. Even the small fan stored in the closet area I used was super clean. Such good food from the restaurant and great baked goods from the store. Everyone is so nice and very friendly! Clean rooms, good food and gas just outside make this place a must stop if you pass through!”

“You might think a burger couldn’t make that much difference in a persons life - but you’d be wrong. I have had one of my worst days in a long time, at the end of an incredibly long, gruelling week. I got to Shep’s right at the end of the night and hadn’t had lunch yet. When the chef offered to make me a burger I would have been grateful to just eat anything cooked of any quality or condition. Boy was I in for a surprise. That has to be one of if not the best burgers I have ever had in my life! And the jalapeño poppers! But the chef gave me far more than just a meal; he gave me a little bit of empathy and a little compassion. I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who was at Shepherd’s Inn tonight, for the work you do every day making delicious real food, and for being on the lookout for people like me at the end of their rope. Anyone who hasn’t had a bacon cheese burger here has been missing out. Seriously.”

“We stayed at Shepherds Inn for four days and had a pleasant experience. Although the inn is older, the rooms were spotless and charming, with comfortable beds and plenty of blankets. The cleaning staff were exceptional and really attentive. We were aware before booking that the inn is located right by the highway, which occasionally made it difficult to sleep due to semi-truck traffic overnight. However, the excellent food and bakery on site more than made up for the noise. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Wow! Wow! Wow! After a long, tough drive we arrived a couple minutes before the restaurant closed. Instead of telling us we were too late the chef personally welcomed us after we had checked in. Not only that, the service and food were phenomenal! We were blown away. Our room is excellent as well. Thank you, Shepherd's Inn.”

“I work rigs and this was our camp for the evening, at first I was unsure but immediately upon checking in the staff were almost family like. Very friendly and welcoming, giving a feeling like going over to grandma's farm and her wholesome kindness. Without a doubt the best "camp" I've ever been to and definitely the most hearty and warm hotel in comparison. They will take care of you”
